Bobtail East Indian Rosewood grips
This is a new wood in the shop - East Indian Rosewood. Overall brown with a hint of purple make for a very nice color. Slightly darker and subtle sweeping grain set it off. Very nice wood! Bookmatched of course. My grips just feel different and better due to my own shaping techniques. Total comfort and beauty here!
Not simply chopped off government grips, my bobtail grips are meant to be bobtails from the first cut. I shape them to the frame, and round the butt of the panels in a way that is a true joy to hold. No corners to dig or rub you, just softly rounded srufaces that melt into your hand. The grips are finished in multi layered, satin lacquer for great aesthetics and protection. Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the pics!
